Since starting to criticise the BMSD, UmmahPulse.com has come under cyberattack from a group calling itself Cheerleaders for The Fighting Cocks (TFC-C). The form of the attack has been to open a Facebook account under the name UmmahPulse and to post offensive comments written ostensibly by us.
This group has several members, notable amongst them are Charlie Flowers and Shooter Kirpachi (who also set up the facebook account). Charlie Flowers has previously threatened another blogger Tim Ireland with physical violence and published his home address on several websites with false claims that he was a Nazi and a terrorist (probably in the hope that someone else would physically assault him). Tim Ireland's only crime was to expose a fraud committed by a far right blogger, Glen Jevney who posed as a Muslim and posted threatening comments about prominent British Jews on the website Ummah.com – and then sold the story to The Sun as an example of British Muslim terrorism.
Other examples of TFC-C's online thuggish behaviour are the threats received by MPACUK. MPACUK has written in greater detail about their experience with TFC-C here, and include a rather interesting photograph of Charlie Flowers and one of the leaders of the far right extremist group, the English Defence League (EDL).
Charlie Flowers has posted several comments on UmmahPulse.com demanding that I give more personal details about myself. Considering his previous form I can only suspect that he wishes to track down my home address, post it on Far Right websites and threaten me with physical violence as well. He and his associates from Cheerleaders for The Fighting Cocks have posted several comments on UmmahPulse that we have blocked due to their inappropriate content and it is due to this that he has now fraudulently opened a false facebook account in the name UmmahPulse.
What is completely astounding is that in several posts Ms Tehmina Kazi, Director of BMSD, has indicated that she is friends with Charlie Flowers and even told us what TFC-C stood for - revealing that she has a pretty good working knowledge of what these cyber-thugs do to anyone they disagree with. Are we to assume by this that she endorses the behaviour of her friends? Ms Kazi has also echoed Charlie Flowers' calls that the writers of UmmahPulse publish online more personal details about themselves. Should this indicate that Tehmina Kazi of the BMSD trolls the Muslim online world with Charlie Flowers padding alongside her - her status dog on a short lead?
We are all aware of the utterly flawed nature of BMSD's Islamic knowledge and practice, but to associate oneself with brutish thugs like Charlie Flowers is entirely reprehensible and beyond the pale. Tehmina Kazi, you have dodged questions to clarify the BMSD's position on certain points repeatedly. To the list please add:
Will you completely disassociate yourself from the online cyber-terrorist and thug Charlie Flowers or are you and the BMSD content to share in his unsavory reputation for violence and threats?
